Coach Todd

Todd began training and grappling in January 2007 under a Royce Gracie blackbelt. Additionally, he trained for a year under Tony Aponte at Urban Jungle in Houston, TX, and then trained under Joan Jucao at American Top Team in Atlanta, GA, from 2018 to 2022 before returning to Jackson, MS, where he is currently affiliated with Israel Gomez and Randall Powell under American Killer Bees. 

Todd was successful in many notable tournaments between 2007 and 2010, even competed in the ADCC trials in 2009, but moved away from competition due to other obligations. From 2013 through 2017, Todd was able to spend half of each year traveling and training at various gyms across the country, which included:

Last, but not least, Todd loves walks in the park and puppies. He is known for being the nicest and meanest person at the same time, which is often demonstrated through his style of Troll Roll.
